Recovery Network’s Level II.1 Intensive Outpatient Program is a six month program which could extend to a maximum of twelve-months depending on the treatment needs of the patient. This service is structured for quick and seamless movement throughout the treatment process. Our clinical services include individual, group, and family counseling; case management services; addictive disease education; psychiatric consultation; social work services; psychological services for dual diagnosis; NA/AA required attendance; diet and nutritional counseling and education; and special groups for parenting, infectious diseases, anger management, co-dependency, criminal offenders, and trauma. As with OP, IOP is also offered as an adjunctive service to select patients who are concurrently receiving residential services.
Patients who are admitted to Recovery Network’s IOP are scheduled for a minimum of nine hours of clinical services per week. Treatment is typically divided into three phases. While phases have delineated time frames, each phase can be modified to meet the individual needs of the patient. In view of this, during Phase I, a patient attends IOP four to five days/week for up to 15 hrs/week depending on treatment needs.
In Phase II, patients attend group, individual sessions, and other specialized activities as designated in their Individual Treatment Plan (ITP). The total number of treatment hours is titrated downward but not below nine hours weekly.
During Phase III, the intensity of counseling time is decreased below nine hours per week, and the patient is essentially placed into outpatient status (OP). The final 30-day period is used to reinforce information about the recovery process, relapse dynamics, and to provide case management services in preparation for discharge. Outpatient or aftercare services are typically recommended at completion of IOP treatment.
Recovery Network will provide attendance and progress reports to attorneys, courts, probation officers, employers, psychiatric or medical providers, and other referral sources.
